Easy to set up in Linux; a little rougher in in Windows. The radio(s) can run 25 or 45 watts. If you are looking to run VaraFM as well, I'd stick with Windows as your OS. Antennas? I'm still looking for something that will last 10 years or better, doesn't cost an arm and a leg, provide good coverage, and is easy to install. Same with feedline. Let me know what you come with. 73 Chip N3FUD n3fud@n3fud#epa.pa.usa.noam n3fud@krohsnest.com On Fri, 28 Mar 25 00:31:00 Z WG3K wrote: > MID: 15586_WG3K > Date: 2025/03/28 00:38 > Type: Bulletin > From: WG3K@WG3K.#SMD.MD.USA.NOAM > To: BPQ@WW > Subject: Hardware for new node > Mbo: GB7BED > Content-Type: text/plain > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit > Body: 587 > > R:250328/0038Z 52710@GB7BED.#21.GBR.EURO LinBPQ6.0.24 > R:250328/0038Z 15141@N2MH4.#SENC.NC.USA.NOAM LinBPQ6.0.24 > R:250328/0037z @:N2MH.#NNJ.NJ.USA.NOAM [via Mesh] jnos 2.0p > $:15586_WG3K R:250328/0037Z 36953@K5DAT.#NEWI.WI.USA.NOAM LinBPQ6.0.24 > R:250328/0036Z 33641@WW6Q.#NEIN.IN.USA.NOAM LinBPQ6.0.24 > R:250328/0031Z 15586@WG3K.#SMD.MD.USA.NOAM LinBPQ6.0.24 > > I have the opportunity to update a local digipeater with a node (and > maybe add a WAN frequency as well).
