I successfully compiled Q and it runs error free when booted. I x'd out the ax25 bc commands and propose to deal with them later. Then, using my P system, I simply x'd out the old jnos binary and replaced it with the just compiled Q binary.
When the Q system is receiving mail, it reports: "read notes: index for <area name> is damaged". And thus for each area, no new mail is delivered.
I'm not sure what 'notes' I'm supposed to be reading, so I read all the readme files but couldn't find anything that looked like it was connected to this problem.
I'm running on a Pi4 with Trixie installed.
