The box measures approximately H2ft x W1.6ft x 6in deep. It has two latched doors which are normally kept closed, but can be opened to view the bees working inside producing honey. The hive is connected to the outside world by a black 3in pipe, through which the bees can come on go with pollen. The bees work in the dark as in a regular hive.
