With connection to add ons to to your rig there is a hazard that can burn out
or dammage ground wiring in your... PC, Noise Eliminating LS, Preamps
Powered Auto ATUs, and rotators etc.
The cause is high DC or RF currents being allowed to flow over signal leads
cause by faulty earths and earth loops.
ÚÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ + 20A
³ ÃÄÄÄÄÄÂÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ In this example the
³ Power ³ ³ ÚÄÁÄ¿ the rig is earthed only
³ ³ ÚÄÄÁÄÄ¿ LS lead ³ ³ via the LS.
³ Supply ³ ³NoiseÃÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ´Rig³ Damage can be to..
³ ³ ³ LS ÃÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ´ ³ Rig LS socket wiring,
³ ³ ÀÄÄÂÄÄÙ ÀÄÂÄÙ Rig PCB,
³ ÃÄÄÄÄÄÁÄÄÄÄÄ//ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ LS lead,
ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ - Failed/poor Noise LS PCB,
Rig Earth Noise LS Power lead.
Using no PSU earth connection and only earthing via the rig connection is a
possable cure for low current accessories.

PSU earth wiring and Mains lead,
Rig AF socket/PCB,
AF lead, Laptop mother board,
VGA lead, Screen, and Screen power lead.
If there is no DC fault but RF voltage on the rig, RF currents can damage..

Latop PSU's mains RF filter,
VGA lead, Screen.
